Install

Start with a prompt that asks an agent to review the GitHub repository and source. Switch to the command if you want to install it yourself.

Copy this prompt into DSH, Codex, or another agent and ask it to review the GitHub repository and source first.

Do not install or run any commands yet. Read this plugin's GitHub repository, README, and relevant source code. Then answer the questions below clearly and directly so I can decide whether it fits my needs:

1. What is this plugin, and what problem does it solve?
2. Who is it for, and what are its typical use cases?
3. How is it used after installation? Include one minimal example.
4. What known limitations or privacy, security, compatibility, or maintenance risks does it have?
5. Give a clear recommendation: recommend, conditionally recommend, or do not recommend, with reasons.

Distinguish statements documented by the repository, inferences from source code, and unknowns. If evidence is insufficient, say so explicitly. Do not guess or simply repeat the README.

dsh-gh-plugin

> 中文文档README.zh-CN.md

A DeepSeek Harness plugin that wraps the GitHub CLI (gh) as model-callable tools.

What it is

dsh-gh-plugin exposes GitHub operations to DSH agents: repositories, issues, pull requests, search, Actions, releases, and the GitHub API — all through structured JSON-backed tools.

Features

  • Browser settings page GitHub: auth status, generic forms for every gh_* tool, confirmations, and JSON/text results.
  • Session GitHub view tab: profile, contribution heatmap, repository list with actions, inbox, and local/remote Git branches.
  • Auth status and login guidance.
  • Repository create/view/list/edit/delete with topic management.
  • Issue create/list/view/close/reopen/comment/edit.
  • Pull request create/list/view/merge/checkout/review.
  • Search repos/issues/prs/code.
  • Actions workflow/run views; release create/list/view.
  • Raw gh api tool for advanced use.
  • Dangerous operations require explicit confirmation.

Use cases

  • Ask the agent to list open issues and summarize them.
  • Create an issue or PR from a conversation.
  • Search GitHub for repositories matching a topic.
  • Check CI run status and logs.
  • Create a release with generated notes.

See [docs/用例目录/README.md](./docs/用例目录/README.md) for the full command/use-case/parameter catalog (Chinese).
