dsh-greet-plugin

A DeepSeek Harness plugin that registers a greet tool callable by the model.

• Plugin ID: greet
• Tool: greet(name: string) → Hello, {name}!
• Host only — no UI yet.

Usage

Install into a profile (bundle form, local checkout):

dsh plugin --profile demo add ./greet-plugin

Or install from git:

dsh plugin --profile demo add github:you/dsh-greet-plugin

> For git installs the package ships plain ESM (index.js), so no build step is required. If you publish to npm, use dsh plugin --profile demo add dsh-greet-plugin.

Verify the layer without starting:

dsh --profile demo --dump-config   # shows a "# == dsh-greet-plugin" layer

Then start and ask the model:

Use the greet tool to greet Ada.
